Did you know that 25% of the populace in the US has some kind of tattoo? Reports indicate that over time 50% of those who get inked will regret doing so and will want it removed. The good news is that the technology exists to do so, and Flawless is one of the only places in New Mexico that offers this service. Tattoo removals and the technicians that do the work are not all created equal. At Flawless we use a Q-switch laser that can treat all skin types and a spectrum of color ink.

All tattoos are different. We take into account the size, depth, location, and age of the tattoo. Because of the inconsistencies caused by the FDA not regulating tattoo ink, our Flawless pros also take into account uncertainties, including variations in the colors (ie: a blue might also have some green in it). When it comes to removals, make sure you’re not going to an amateur!

During a treatment, the laser hits the tattoo (with high-intensity beam), and that high heat penetrates under the skin to break the ink into harmless microparticles. Those microparticles are then absorbed by your immune system. Most likely you will need more than one treatment, in some cases, it can take between 4 to 16 treatments to remove an unwanted tattoo. It can be a long process, but one that, in the end, results in a more confident self-image.
